Meeting called to order by Supervisor Jacobson at 7:00 pm

Minutes of the May meeting were approved as published.
Motion by Trustee Waldron to adopt the agenda for this meeting. Seconded by Trustee Burdick and it carried with 5 yeas.
Police Report: Memorial weekend was quiet and they are working on serving blight violations.
Airport Report: Saturday was very busy and they are keeping busy doing normal maintenance.
Treasurers Report: $704,840.88 without interest.
Motion by Trustee Waldron to accept the offer to purchase by Mr. Giese with the addition of following the deed restrictions set forth by the Planning Commission and no additional use restrictions would be added unless approved by the Township Board. Treasurer Fisher seconded motion and a roll call vote was taken. Burdick-yes, Hahn-yes, Jacobson-yes, Fisher-yes, Waldron-yes.
A resolution was read by Supervisor Jacobson to be sent with a Tea 21 grant request to the DNR for park enhancement. Motion by Trustee Waldron to approve grant request and have Supervisor Jacobson sign the resolution. Seconded by Trustee Burdick and it carried.
Treasurer Fisher made a motion to amend our Banking resolution to include Straits Area Credit Union, First Federal Credit Union and Onaway Credit Union. Clerk Hahn seconded the motion and it carried with 5 yeas.
The budget meeting will be Thursday, June 10th at 7 pm at the township hall.
Audience comments: When is the culvert coming out and new boat launch going in? It was explained that the new boat launch is the first project for Marina Park. Yes, the culvert will be coming out, but not at this time.
What is the status on the road improvements and what about sewers? We are awaiting the cost estimate of the roads and then will start the special assessment process to property owners and the STAG grant money will be decided in October.
Motion to pay the bills by Trustee Waldron, seconded by Treasurer Fisher and it carried with 5 yeas.
