MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE 
TUSCARORA TOWNSHIP BOARD
SEPTEMBER 7, 2004

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Supervisor Jacobson

Members Present: Burdick, Hahn, Jacobson, Fisher, Waldron (left at 7:50 pm)
Citizens Present: 18

Minutes of the August meeting were approved as published.

Motion by Trustee Waldron to adopt the agenda as presented. Seconded by Trustee Burdick and it carried.

Police Report: Hunters safety will be starting next Monday. The officers will start the fall rotation of training and the new patrol vehicle will be ready to go on Thursday.

Airport Report: None available.

Treasurers Report: $660,724.56

Gourdie-Fraser faxed a contract and the final numbers for the street paving project. Total estimated cost is $718,400.00 or $35.86 per linear feet. The board will do a survey sampling within the district to get a feel for it before signing a contract.

Mr. Cassuchi has made a request to the board to put a well on township property. Last month Eric meet with him and the health dept on this matter and the only possible site is by the fountain. He has also requested to be tied into the townships well. Questions were asked about what the well log says about our capacity and if the health department will let him use our well. A motion was made by Trustee Waldron that if all checks out, Eric and Diane will be able to structure an agreement. If any of the property is disturbed he will be responsibility to repair it. It will be a five-year term. Treasurer Fisher seconded the motion and it carried.

Motion by Treasurer Fisher to grant a lot split requested by Mr. Jeffers. It will be taking 7 ½ ‘ from Lot 49 and adding it to Lot 50. Seconded by Trustee Burdick and it carried 4 yeas, 0 nays, 1 absent.

Audience comments: Residents on the lake were here about boats mooring at road ends. This has been a problem for approx. 4 years. Chief Wagner said the only way it can be enforced, is to have an ordinance. Clerk Hahn to research ordinances.

Motion to pay the bills by Trustee Burdick. Seconded by Clerk Hahn and it carried with 4 yeas, 0 nays, 1 absent.
