Minutes of the March meeting were approved as published.
Motion by Treasurer Fisher to adopt the agenda as presented. Seconded by Trustee Rohr and it carried with 3 yeas, 2 absent.
Police Report: With the quick change in the weather, they are changing from snowmobile patrol to working on blight.
Mr. Shotmillers property will be up for tax sale this Friday.
Airport Report: Nothing to report.
Treasurers Report: $837,125.75 with interest
Economic Development Report: John Wilcox spoke on the two leadership programs that he attended and that the group is complying a listing of all township projects.
Due to the school election being held at the township hall on May 3rd the board meeting will be moved to Wednesday May 4th at 7:00 pm.
The Indian River Chamber of Commerce made a request to the township for use of Township properties for this years Summer Fest July 14th – 17th. Motion by Treasurer Fisher to grant the request with the exclusion of closing Straits Hwy to Martha Street. This will be included if Onaway Credit Union has no problem with the closure. Chief Wagner to check with them on the possibility of the Lumbaryard opening an entrance for them. Motion was seconded by Clerk Hahn and it carried with 3 yeas and 2 absent.

Motion to pay the bills by Trustee Rohr, with Treasurer Fisher seconding it and it carried with 3 yeas, 2 absent.
