Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Clerk Hahn

Minutes of the June 24th meeting were approved as published.
Motion by Trustee Waldron to adopt the agenda as presented. Seconded by Trustee Rohr and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
Police Report: Summer has been going well.
Library Report: Cindy spoke about the need for the mileage increase that will be on the August 8 primary election. There has been a 32% drop in penal fines over the past 5 years and they are in jeopardy of loosing the state aid.
Airport Report: We have another new hanger getting ready to start.
Treasurers Report: $774,484.63 without interest
Motion by Trustee Waldron to adopt the Bond Resolution for the Road Project. It will be for $505,000.00 at 4.6% interest for 5 years. Seconded by Treasurer Fisher and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
Motion by Treasurer Fisher to adopt the Resolution Authorizing Installment Purchasing Agreement. It will be for $160,000.00 at 4.6% interest for 5 years. Seconded by Trustee Waldron and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
The board set the fireworks for 2007 on July 4th with a rain/wind day of July 5, 2007.
Motion by Treasure Fisher to adopt the Sturgeon River Watercraft Resolution so the DNR will evaluate the recreational boating and surface water use problem on the Sturgeon River directly east of the Tomahawk Trails Canoe Livery. Clerk Hahn seconded the motion and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
We will hold a public hearing for special assessment districts of Link Blvd and Bosserman Trail on September 5, 2006 at 7 pm before the regular meeting.
Phillip Haldaman is requesting to board look at adopting a private road ordinance. Chief Wagner would like the matter tabled until September so he can research other ordinances and check with zoning. It is tabled until September.
Audience Comments: Mr. Hoffman requests a curb at the corner of The Pike and Poplar. We will wait and see what it is like when the gravel is done.
When are the public restrooms open and why are they not open on Sundays? Joe Breed from the Chamber said it was a staffing issue.
Motion to pay the bills by Trustee Waldron with Trustee Rohr seconding it and it carried.
