Minutes of the April meeting were approved as published.
Motion by Trustee Waldron to adopt the agenda as presented for this meeting. Trustee Rohr seconded the motion and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
Police report: The amended changes to the blight ordinance have been given to the Board members for review. The Township Attorney meet with the Judge about the changes and he was favorable of the new language. The Board will address the changes next month.
Airport report: Gearing up for the State inspection.

The Annual Meeting will be held on June 26, 2007 at 7:00 pm.
Supervisor Jacobson read the salary resolution into the minutes. The electors of the township may modify the amounts at that time. Clerk Hahn made a motion to adopt the resolution, seconded by Trustee Rohr. It carried 4 yeas 1 absent.
The bids came back on Link Drive much lower than expected. The bids are good for 90 days. Questions were asked on how much it is for the hill and the road. Supervisor Jacobson and the engineering firm will come up with those answers. Motion by Trustee Waldron to confirm the roll on June 5th at 6:30 pm. This will be for the entire project. Clerk Hahn seconded the motion and a roll call vote was taken. Rohr, yes, Hahn, yes, Jacobson, yes, Waldron, yes with Fisher absent.
Clerk Hahn mentioned that the anytime cleanup vouchers for 1 cubic yard of waste per household are here. They can be picked up at the Township offices.
Rebecca from the Chamber reminded anyone interested in "Can Small Towns Be Cool?". Wednesday night, May 2 from 7 to 9 at Boyne City High School. If you would like to ride with Straits Regional Ride, meet at the Chamber at 6 pm.
Clerk Hahn needs 3 budget adjustments. $36,000.00 from unallocated to 101-101-801-00 Township Board Professional. To cover the forfeiture of Industrial lots, plans for green dock project and Link Dr plans (which will be reimbursed when project complete). $1055.00 from 101-202-801-00 Acct fees to 101-537-930-00 airport repairs and maintenance. Also to 101-537-930-00 $400.00 for runway stripping from unallocated.
From police unallocated $10,000.00 to 207-301-977-00 equipment for purchase of 2 new snowmobiles. ($8500.00 will be replaced when the grant is received from the State).
Motion by Trustee Waldron to grant the budget adjustments, seconded by Trustee Rohr and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
Audience Comments: The State Police officer will be up within the next few weeks to look at the no parking on the road ends on the West side of the township. Robin Rohn sent a letter to the CCRC asking them to remove the picnic table at the end of River St. Supervisor Jacobson explained that many years ago a special use permit was obtained to make that a park. She asked if that could be done at other road ends?, has any of our grant money been held up from the state?
Allen Hendershot had questions about the rumors going around about the blight citations. Chief Wagner answered the questions.
Motion by Trustee Waldron to pay the bills as presented, seconded by Trustee Rohr and it carried 4 yeas, 1 absent.
