Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Supervisor Jacobson

Minutes of the last meeting were approved as published.
Motion to adopt the agenda as presented with the omission of item #12 by Clerk Hahn. Trustee Rohr seconded it and it carried with 5 yeas.
Police Report: Gearing up for snowmobiles and Hero (our K9 dog) will be retiring Jan 1, 2008 due to health issues.
Airport Report: Keeping the runway open.
Treasurers Report: Township funds $192,767.81 and tax funds $16,189.34.
Motion by Clerk Hahn to re-appoint Dave Carpenter to the county ambulance board for another 3-year term. Trustee Rohr seconded the motion and it carried with 5 yeas.
The January meeting will be on Thursday January 3rd at 7:00 pm.
Motion by Treasurer Fisher to adopt the resolution changing Barkleys liquor license to comply with the Summer Store being there. Trustee Waldron supported the motion and it carried with 5 yeas.
Motion by Supervisor Jacobson to replace Jane Baker on the DDA with Rebecca Behm for the unexpired term. Also to replace Bill Jones with Jerry Wilson for the unexpired term. Trustee Waldron seconded the motion and it carried with 5 yeas.
Clerk Hahn to put an ad in the local paper looking for interested persons to be on the planning commission.
Motion by Treasurer Fisher to adopt the Mers Health care savings program for the police officers. (This is already in the contract) Clerk Hahn seconded the motion and it carried with 5 yeas.
Audience Comments:
Treasurer Fisher would like to see discussion on the committee to research a Township Manager or restructuring the Board. After discussion it will be noted that after the January 3rd meeting, the Board will set aside ½ hour to meet with interested parties on what the responsibilities of this committee will be.
Members of Boy Scout Troop 204 were here working on their communications badge.
Rebecca wanted to know why the township did not do the snow plowing on the other side of the street. After discussion we will continue to do it as we are.
Motion to pay the bills by Treasurer Fisher, seconded by Trustee Waldron and it carried.
