Minutes of the December meeting were approved as published.
Motion by Treasure Fisher to adopt the agenda as presented. Seconded by Clerk Hahn and it carried.
Police Report: Standing on stats
Airport Report: Nothing new to report.
Treasurers Report: $216,999.38 in twp accounts, $1,652,652.76 in tax account all without interest.
Motion by Clerk Hahn to adopt the federal poverty guidelines. Trustee Rohr seconded the motion and it carried.
Motion by Clerk Hahn to adopt the resolution from the state on the grant for the boat launch. Trustee Rohr seconded the motion and it carried.
Motion by Trustee Fisher to sign the fire contract in the amount of $164,707.00 for the 2008 year. Seconded by Clerk Hahn and it carried.
Motion by Clerk Hahn to give the Cheboygan County Humane Society a grant in the amount of $750.00. Seconded by Trustee Rohr and it carried.
Mike Ridley gave a presentation on the Veterans Fishing Pier. The project will be approx. $500,000.00.
Motion to pay the bills by Trustee Waldron, seconded by Treasurer Fisher and it carried.
Motion to adjourn by Treasurer Fisher at 7:35 pm.
