Located at the confluence of the Indian River and Little Sturgeon River is Marina Park and the Tuscarora Township boat launch.

Features & Future Vision

The park has benches for viewing the rivers, docks for fishing and tables for picnics. Final vision for the park includes day parking for boats, overnight marina, band shell, children’s playground and an on-site restroom and shower facility.

Boat Launch

The boat launch is located across the Little Sturgeon River on Nabanois Road. It is a dual ramp, deep water launch site that launches directly into the Little Sturgeon River at the junction of the Indian River. There is parking for 26 vehicle / trailer combinations on site with overflow parking located at Marina Park.

Boat Launch User / Parking Fees

The daily launch / parking fee is $6 per day. This fee applies to all vehicles parked at the boat and/or launching or loading of boats. Passes must be displayed in the windshield of the vehicle.

Overflow parking is provided at Marina Park west of the Little Sturgeon. Vehicles without trailers may park at Marina Park for free; vehicles with trailers are $6 per day. Unattended trailers will be towed at owner’s expense.

Annual Passes

Annual (January-December) passes are $40 and are available for purchase at the Tuscarora Township office and at the Indian River Chamber of Commerce. A business pass is available for purchase at the township office. Please contact Sue Fisher, Clerk, at 231-238-0970 for further information.
